Birth of Dharmendra

On December 8, 1935, Dharmendra was raised in the Punjabi city of Phagwara. In the Ludhiana hamlet of Lalton, his father Kishan Singh Deol served as the principal of a school. Dharmendra has had two marriages. His first spouse was Prakash Kaur. Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol, Vijeta Deol, and Ajita Deol are their four children. His daughter traveled abroad after getting married, while his boys are performers in Hindi movies. Hema Malini, a well-known actress and Hindi film industry ideal girl, is his second spouse. Dharmendra, who has spent most of his existence in front of cameras, is a sensitive and shy man. He married Prakash Kaur in 1954 when he had been 19 years old. From this union, Sunny, Bobby, Vijita, and Ajita were born. While at the pinnacle of his cinematic career in the 1970s, he fell into love with Hema Malini, his co-star. Education

The Government Senior Secondary School in Jalandhar was where Dharmendra had his early education. He would sneak into the theatre to see movies while pretending to be in school. Dharmendra's Film Career

When Dharmendra won the Filmfare Magazine New Talent Award, he moved to Mumbai in quest of a job. In 1960, Arjun Hingorani made his Bollywood debut with Dil Bhi Tera Hum Bhi Tere. He then appeared as a co-actor in the 1961 film Boy Friend and went on to star in a number of love stories from 1960 and 1967.

Along with Anpadha (1962), Pooja Ke Phool Mein Mala (1962), and Dulhan Ek Raat Ki (1967), he collaborated alongside Nutan on Surat and Seerat (1962), Bandini (1963), Dil Ne Phir Yaad Kiya (1966), and Dulhan Ek Raat Ki (1967) "Kajal" (1965), "Phool and Patthar" (1965), and "Poornima" (1965) with Meena Kumari. He played the lead in Phool Aur Patthar (1966), which was his first action movie. It was thanks to this movie that he gained notoriety as an action hero. He then featured in Mera Gaon Mera Desh (1971), another of his successful action movies.

Dharmendra won his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor for Phool Aur Patthar, the most popular movie of 1966. People praised his portrayal of his character in the movie Anupama as well. For India's Got Talent's third season in 2011, Dharmendra replaced Sajid Khan as a judge. On July 29, 2011, India's Got Talent made its Colors television debut to much higher ratings than its previous two seasons.

Dharmendra's Political Career

Political figure Dharmendra has considerable popularity. During the 2004 general elections, he was chosen by the Bharatiya Janata Party to represent Bikaner, Rajasthan, as a Member of Parliament. He expressed his views on a number of important issues throughout his election campaign and made an effort to explain the fundamentals of democracy to the populace. He did, however, achieve a lot during that period. Despite being a member of parliament, he seldom ever attended meetings since he was too busy hunting and running the farm.
